Over the past year Blind Alley has installed blinds on nearly all of the windows in my two homes. We have thoroughly enjoyed the product! We ordered top down/bottom up blinds for the most versatility and I’m extremely grateful we did. We love our blinds and take care of them - they still look brand new! highly recommend Blind Alley and Hunter Douglas blinds. Sarah was great to work with, we were only adding blinds to one window and they still took the time to do an in home consultation. we also had a few Hunter Douglas blinds from the previous owner with broken cords and wouldn't retract that they fixed. Rhay the service tech was also great, getting everything installed and fixed quick and clean.

This place is okay if you need to have your shades repairs, but if you need them to design new shades for you, they are completely unable to do it. I’ve had several quotes from here, on the order of $10k-20k for a single small room, and not once have they suggested anything that will actually black out my windows despite this being the only requirement Adding an edit to address the below response: First, it isn't gracious to provide free repairs. When I brought my Hunter Douglas Duette Honeycomb shade to Blind Alley for repair, the owner, Kurt, was very helpful and generous with his time, advise, sharing of information of Hunter Douglas' policy, and having his staff come out to double check the measurements. I highly recommend this organization as their customer service was beyond the norm and beyond my expectations.

I have to deal with the van driver for this store almost on a daily basis. Driver has no regard for the law, respect for other road users or care about endangering vulnerable road users with their driving. The driver passes me almost every morning on 140th. Never, not in the 2yrs the driver has been harassing me doing this, has the driver obeyed the law and provided minimum safe passing distance its always a few inches, the law in Washington state is very clear and explicit about exactly how you are to legally pass a bicycl... read more
