I had a wonderful experience working with Jody and Jim on window treatments for our nursery! I visited their storefront in Alexandria and had the chance to see all the different types of shades and fabrics in person. Jim came to my house to do the installation and measurements and was always so professional and friendly! The whole experience felt a lot more personal than working with a place like the Shade Store, and they sell top quality products! Would highly recommend!
The whole team was incredibly professional and friendly, and the finished product looks amazing! We are so happy with our new blinds and shutters. It was a larger project and they took the time to get it right!
My whole experience with the Smart Shades team has made me wish I’d done our project of installing shutters a lot sooner! Jody in the showroom helped me complete my vision and was very responsive to any question I had. Jim in the field gave me great suggestions and did an expert job measuring as all the shutters fit perfectly the first time. Abbas and his team were very accommodating and expeditious with our installation. All around five star experience. Most highly recommend working with this company.
Smart Shades is a great find! They are the 3rd Hunter Douglas dealer we've worked with and they are the real deal -- pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient and on top of things. First and foremost Jody was personable and professional from start to finish. It was clear she cared about us as individual clients and what we wanted to accomplish. The products we decided on when installed exceeded our expectations in appearance, quality and functionality. If you're looking for great selections, modernization and superior materials I truly recommend contacting Smart Shades and Jody. Also we would be remiss if we didn't mention their installation partner who was also great!
