Jody and Jim of Smart Shades are the warmest and friendliest people you ever want to meet and will come to your home to help you match existing shades or buy all new. They also have a shop in Old Town. I had an excellent experience with them and any issue that arose was promptly addressed. I would definitely use Smart Shades again! Highly recommend!
Smart Shades provided the type of customer service that is a rare find these days. Jody arrived at my home as scheduled fully prepared, and with samples to help me choose the window treatment that worked best for me. She's extremely knowledgeable about the products she offers. Earlier this year I started researching new shades for the living/breakfast nook area in my townhouse. After visiting a few stores I happened to come across Smart Shades in Alexandria VA. I had a wonderful experience working with Jody and Jim on window treatments for our nursery! I visited their storefront in Alexandria and had the chance to see all the different types of shades and fabrics in person. Jim came to my house to do the installation and measurements and was always so professional and friendly! The whole experience felt a lot more personal than working with a place like the Shade Store, and they sell top quality products! Would highly recommend!
