This is where I have been attending since my junior year of high school. While my first appointment went smoothly, my second did not. When I was just eighteen, Ballard treated me extremely badly. She was upset because a particular drug was not covered by my insurance. When I didn't reschedule sooner, she became irate, although she never instructed me to. Awesome experience! Ragan is so good at what she does, I didn’t even know she got started until she was already stitching me up. Her assistant Aubree was amazing at making me feel comfortable when she was numbing the area for surgery. Highly recommend these 2 at Modem Dermatology in Richmond. Very satisfied!
The actual medical professionals you see are wonderful and kind. Very patient and knowledgeable as well. However one of the ladies in the scheduling office is always rude and short as if you’re such an inconvenience for calling in to schedule the appointment. If there was another way to do so I would just to avoid the nasty interaction with her each time.
I have never witnessed so many patients coming in and out. The waiting time was minimum. You will not regret going to Modern Dermatology. I was very impressed with the knowledge of my dermatologist, Reagan. She was very informative, great bedside manner and understanding. She was able to explain things to me about my chronic hives that other doctors have not. Best decision made!!
My Dermatologist retired a few months ago so I thought I would give this place a try. After waiting 45 minutes I went up to the front desk. I was informed that there were still 2 people ahead of me. There is no way this could be an accident, they obviously overbook on purpose. They apparently have no respect for anyone else's time. I really feel sorry for people who have no choice but to see this company. I on the other hand won't ever go back.
