Leaving this review on behalf of my grandmother. Her appointment was at 8:30 A.M. She ended up not leaving the office until 8:00 P.M. Once she finally was called back, she was number THREE times to have a melanoma spot removed, because the Dr. would wait too long and they would have to reapply the numbing agent. We understand doctors are busy people, but if it is taking you TWELVE. HOURS. to get patients in and out, you seriously need to consider doing some rescheduling, having patients come in later, or being more upfront... read more

I’m very disappointed with the level of communication and professionalism from Modern Dermatology of Lexington. I texted the office on Monday after hearing the voicemail state that responses would be quick, yet by Wednesday I still had not received any reply. I also called Monday and left a message regarding a stitch that had been left in my leg after a procedure, expecting someone to contact me so I could schedule an appointment to have it removed. Absolutely, without a doubt, the slowest healthcare provider in Lexington Ky. Took my mother there for a 745 appointment. Was seen promptly and then the wait began. Mohs procedure had to be be performed twice and then waited for approximately 5 hours to be stiched up. She was the 3rd patient to be seen and we left the office at 4pm. Totally ridiculous to make a person wait for this long. Here's an idea, maybe not schedule so many patients in a day. Will not be back to this provider.

This place over bills, I had a final follow up procedure (on 3-2-26) to freeze a small spot I had removed months ago. When I checked out they said your all set, no payment needed. On 3-17-26 I received a text form them saying I had a balance. I had already paid them 2 copays from the first visit (one to their lab off site) and another to Modern Dermatology.
