I would like to say the service and staff are wonderful, the one interaction in person I had everyone was friendly. However I have found this to be one of the most frustrating places to get any answers in a timely manner. I had been waiting over a month for a prescription only to find out my insurance won't approve it and to find this out I had to call their specialty pharmacy to find this information out on my own. Currently sitting in a torn paper gown (which is not my preference but is the least of my issues), in this office. When I got here, I had a $30 balance in collections and the staff let me know I’d need to pay it before the appointment. I pay it, and they ask for my insurance card. I tell them I only have my insurance number, they say they cannot run insurance numbers (?? strange for a doctors office), then tell me they need a physical picture of it. I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with this doctor’s office. While the medical staff was patient and kind to my 88-year-old mother, who has some dementia and was understandably frightened, the communication with their office is completely unacceptable. I am almost certain my daughter has Uncombable hair syndrome. Which is a gene mutation and needs to be diagnosed by a dermatologist. Only after diagnosis can I proceed to have her tested for other mutations that might cause other problems down the road. I called an made an appointment with modern dermatologist. Everyone I encountered at this business is beyond rude. The office manager was rude, the phone operator was rude, literally every single person I encountered. Not to mention we had to chase them down for a week to get biopsy results with multiple voicemails left... schedule a procedure, call on Friday to confirm the procedure for a Wednesday the coming, all was well.
