The people at Licht are the best. We had our house repainted and they were friendly and patient as we tested colors on-site, putting up with us as we came back for samples about a dozen times for a complex color scheme. We’re artists and exacting about color, and they treated us as professionals. Richard was especially wonderful to work with, and even took time to explain their pigment system, which helped in mixing our own custom colors. I am a designer and builder in the Evanston area. I visit this location VERY regularly. Every single time I am greeted by the friendly staff and leave with a quality product. My design business has required specialty products many times. JC Licht in Evanston, formerly Evanston Paint, has been my "go to" paint store for over 40 years! Where do they find representatives who seem to have more years of deep experience than their ages? Lately, I've had great advice and excellent, personalized service from Richard and Antonio. My 150-year-old Italianate home continues to draw compliments from friends and passersby alike, so clearly their recommendations have been spot on! Keep up the fine traditions.
The manager Antonio and his people are the best! Richard helped me this time and did an outstanding job finding exactly the right tools, paint and stain I need for my two very different projects.
