I was visiting new York and went into janovic to get some paint. The employees were very helpful but one thing that I was not able to handle was how hot it was in there. I feel bad for the employees because they should be working in a comfortable place. Janovic needs to do better in having a better work place for the employees. This is a unhealthy environment. I will be reporting these conditions.
Last week, I went into janovic twice to get a few sundries and paint and i Had to get out immediately Because the heat was so unbearable It felt like it was over a 100° in there ! I don't understand how a company can have employees working in a store with no air conditioner especially during a heat wave very unacceptable ! All of the employees looked drained and miserable. I’ve worked at a shop nearby for 4 years and have regular need for various paint supplies, often on short notice, and these guys have always come through for me in a pinch. Adora is especially helpful. She is always on top of things and has been a huge help over the years. Can’t sing her praises enough. In general an overall great store staffed by thoughtful workers.
